This relatively small Indian restaurant near the centre of town has a deserved reputation for being the best of its kind in the region, in part justified by the number of Indian and western regulars, the latter often connoisseurs of curry dishes themselves. Delicious cuisine and courteous, informed service complement the room to allow a comfortable evening out either with friends or somebody special. The atmosphere is just right, Bollywood movies being screened from wall mounted TVs, and as for the food, well, the full range of sub-continental and Thai dishes on offer means that there is something for everybody, making Namaste not only the author’s favourite, but also top choice for many others too.
